Sam nails it for Specialized!

In a thrilling finale to the 2009 UCI DH world championship series at Schladming in Austria, a race where 4 guys could have took the overall on the last day, the seemingly unstoppable Sam Hill piloted his Specialized Demo to an amazing victory.

Sam Blenkinsop had the hotseat for the lions share of the final runs until the super loose Hill took the Schladming course by the scruff of the neck and re-established himself as the best in the world next to newly crowned world champion Steve "Sheffield steel" Peat.
Want a 2010 Demo? Well they are available for pre-order (November) at Dales Cycles by calling or e-mailing us.

Peaty wins!

Nothing to do with Dales Cycles, but I felt I just had to give 5 minutes of my time to the old man of DH. Finally (after a while trying) Steve Peat beats South African team mate Greg Minnaar by 0.05 seconds to take the UCI Downhill world downhill championship medal.....Well done Steve!
